The Eden Project is a must and it’s just an hour away. The Minack Theatre built into the cliffs at Portchcurno creates a memorable backdrop to any production but be prepared for a passing school of dolphins to steal the show. Lands End is also easily accessible along with a host of other attractions including National Trust gardens, World Heritage Mining sites, golf courses and family based attractions such as Flambards and Dairyland.

St. Ives is five minutes down the road. A truly charming seaside town it has plenty to offer both the young and old. For art lovers there’s the Tate of the West, Barbara Hepworth Museum, Leach Pottery and any number of smaller galleries. Two of the town’s beaches are world class. Both awarded Blue Flag status, Porthmeor is a mecca for surfers whilst Porthminster is a favourite for families. It’s easy to spend a day pottering along the cobbled streets filled with crafts, locally designed jewellery, unique clothes shops and much more. St. Ives has also developed a great reputation for food from cream teas to fresh fish, there’s something for every palate and pocket.
