Exploring Cornwall with Betsy: Our March recommendation
If you’re looking for the best dog-friendly walks in Cornwall, you might have our five-year-old cockapoo to thank for the inspiration. Betsy has an endless appetite for long walks, and honestly, we’re not complaining! She gives us the perfect excuse to explore corners of Cornwall we don’t visit nearly enough.
Recently, we took a trip to Wheal Coates it St Agnes for a change of scenery.
It’s safe to say it didn’t disappoint. The area offers many walking routes, based off how far you want to go. All have spectacular views along the Cornish coast.
We chose the St Agnes Head to Chapel Porth walk, which took us around two hours, including a well-deserved hot chocolate stop along the way. It’s a fantastic route for stretching your legs and letting the dogs explore the rugged coastline.
We parked at the St Agnes Head car park, which is free, although there are several other car parks nearby if that one is busy.
If you’d like to plan your own visit, you can find more details on the National Trust website.
